Demineralisation removes nearly all dissolved minerals from water using cation and anion exchange resins. Our DM plants provide the high-purity water needed for boiler feed, pharmaceutical processing, laboratories and sensitive manufacturing.
How it works
Water passes through a cation exchanger followed by an anion exchanger (mixed-bed polishing for higher purity). Cations and anions are exchanged for hydrogen and hydroxyl ions, which combine to form water. Resins are regenerated with acid and caustic at regular intervals; we provide the regeneration procedure and support.
Specifications and capacities shown are indicative. The final design is confirmed against your water analysis and site conditions.
